Skills

Built-in and custom skills that encode your team's campaign SOPs

Last updated 8 Oct 2026Agent · article 2 of 3

Skills are domain-specific standard operating procedures that tell the AI how your team runs campaigns. Each skill combines context, orchestration logic, and governance rules into a reusable package that activates when relevant.

Open Skills in the sidebar, under the Workspace group.

How Skills Work

When the AI receives a request, it checks which skills are relevant:

ActivationTriggerWhat loads
Always-onPublished skill with no specific triggerFull skill content injected into every prompt
ExplicitUser requests it by nameFull skill content loaded on demand
ImplicitSystem detects topic relevanceMetadata only, promoted to full load if needed

This tiered activation keeps the context window lean — only full skill content for skills that are actually needed.

Built-in Skills

The Skills page shows all platform-provided skills that are available on your plan. Built-in skills can be individually enabled or disabled for your workspace.

Built-in skills cover common campaign management patterns:

  • Budget optimization
  • Audience management
  • Creative review
  • Performance analysis

Toggle any built-in skill on or off to control whether it activates in conversations.

Custom Skills

Custom skills let you encode your team's specific workflows. Creating, editing, and publishing custom skills is available on every plan; workspace permissions and governance checks still apply.

Creating a Custom Skill

  1. Navigate to Skills > New (or click New Skill on the Skills page)
  2. Paste the skill's Markdown — name and description frontmatter plus the skill body (SOPs, constraints, examples) — or upload a skill file
  3. Optionally attach supporting knowledge bases and review rules, and choose how the skill activates (always-on, explicit, or implicit)
  4. Click Create skill to save it

Editing a Skill

  1. Find the skill on the Skills page
  2. Click the actions menu and select Edit
  3. Make changes in the editor
  4. Click Save — changes take effect on the next conversation

Organization Skills

Skills can be scoped to your organization, making them available to all team members. Organization skills appear in a separate section on the Skills page. Only admins and owners can publish organization-scoped skills.

Skill Audit Trail

Every time a skill activates in a conversation, it is recorded in the audit trail. This lets you see which skills influenced which decisions — useful for debugging and compliance.
